[ Story ]
A drama set in the bonito fishing town of Kuroshio in Kochi Prefecture. Against the backdrop of the magnificent local scenery, it creates a detailed illustration of the bond between a single fisherman and his mentally-disabled son. It is the directorial debut of Okumura Morito, a former investigative reporter for the Kochi Shimbun newspaper.
Every day, divorced fisherman and Kuroshio resident Masao (Naha Takashi) leaves his mentally-disabled son Yusuke (Matsuzawa Takumi) with his elderly mother while he heads out to sea. However, when she dies, Masao has no idea of how to care for Yusuke.
