[ Story ]
Live action film based on a comic of the same title by Isshiki Makoto. With a touch of fantasy, the director, Mizuta Nobuo, depicts the big summer adventure of a lively boy, who has gained the ability to see ghosts, and his relationship with his family. Traditional countryside scenes are fused together with the latest CG, unfolding a story with new, but nostalgic images.
Hanada Ichiro (Suga Kenta) is poor, but leads a happy life with his cheerful family. One day, Ichiro darts out of his house on his bicycle after a quarrel with his mother (Shinohara Ryoko), and collides with a truck. He should have died then, but he is helped by the ghost of a high school girl, Seiko (Ando Nozomi), and is brought back to this world. When Ichiro wakes up, he has obtained the mysterious ability to see ghosts. Various ghosts appear in front of Ichiro, including the granny at the tobacconist; the high school girl, Seiko who saved Ichiro; his best friend's father; and a man who claims to be Ichiro's real father. Each ghost tells Ichiro of their lingering feelings that still remain in this world. Only when Ichiro resolves them, can the ghosts finally rest in peace.
