[ Story ]
An animation with a totally new sensibility, directed by Oshii Mamoru of GHOST IN THE SHELL2:INNOCENCE (INNOCENCE). Legendary fast food grifters challenge eating places with all their might. These "play-for-keeps" grifters are depicted, making full use of "superlivemation" that fuses together live-action and 3D computer graphics. The roles of the fast food grifters are played by top creators in the industry, including Suzuki Toshio who leads Studio Ghibli and Ishikawa Mitsuhisa of Production I.G.
In 1945, soon after the war, an enigmatic man appears at a fast food noodle bar at a black market. The man is Moongaze Ginji (Kisshoji Kaito), a legendary fast food grifter. Times change and many fast food grifters, such as Foxy Croquette O-Gin (Hyodo Mako) and Crying Inumaru (Ishikawa Mitsuhisa), challenge the owners of eating establishments.
The film had its premier at the Venice International Film Festival, as well as being officially invited to film festivals such as the Montreal International New Cinema Festival and the Vancouver International Film Festival.
