[ Story ]

The concluding chapter to a series of live-action films based on manga creator Watsuki Nobuhiro's bestselling comic. It serves as the latter half of a two-part narrative set in Kyoto that was the manga's most popular storyline. Series director Otomo Keishi presents a spectacular depiction of a legendary killer's desperate struggle against a faction plotting to take over Japan.
After a deadly battle, Kenshin (Satoh Takeru) washes up on a beach and is reunited with his former mentor Hiko (Fukuyama Masaharu). In order to challenge Shishio (Fujiwara Tatsuya), who is scheming to over throw the Meiji Government, Kenshin pleads with Hiko to teach him secret sword fighting techniques.
