[ Story ]
Road movie set in Kumano, situated in the southern part of the Izu Peninsula, by Tanaka Chiseko, the film critic who has also directed films including The Sea, the Bicycle and the Amanohashidate. Also depicts the landscape of the Kumano Kodo, famed as a World Heritage Site.
Actor-cum-writer Kaibe Tsuyoshi (himself) heads for Kumano to write travel essays. He gradually becomes charmed by Kumano's profound appeal as he visits Kumano's famous sites and meets the people who live there.
