[ Story ]
Intimate documentary about the renowned actor Nakadai Tatsuya, whose career spans six decades with performances in close to 200 films and plays. The film shows his life as an actor tackling performances even now at the age of 82. The three parts focus on the Mumeijuku theater troupe, which he leads.
Nakadai built up a brilliant career with films including Kurosawa Akira's Kagemusha. Four decades ago he founded the Mumeijuku theater troupe with his wife to dedicate himself to nurturing young actors, and Nakadai himself continues to perform on stage and grapple with voluminous scripts.
