A documentary that closely follows the protest movement against the construction of a new U.S. military base in Henoko, Okinawa, and earnestly reveals the Okinawan people's feelings toward the national government and desire for peace. An official selection of the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival's International Competition. Narration is provided by singer and Okinawa native Cocco.
In 2014, attempts are being made to build a U.S. base in Henoko Bay. Okinawa finds itself at the mercy of the national government's policies, and as internal conflict builds between Okinawans, a gubernatorial election gets under away.
