Sakaki Hideo, who depicted human actions in Disregarded People, directs this film adaptation of Maruno Hiroyuki's novel that invited controversy for its overtly extreme subject matter. A debt collector who has lost all his limbs pushes debtors into the pit of despair through his malicious harassment.
In the town of Kiyamachi in Kyoto, Katsuura (Endo Kenichi), whose arms and legs were amputated in a certain incident, corners debtors with his cutthroat harassment and exacts the money they owe from them. One day, he tracks down the relations of the person responsible for the loss of his limbs 5 years ago.
