[ Story ]

Osaki Akira, winner of the 16th Japan Movie Critics Award for The Catch Man directs this human drama written by Adachi Shin. The strenuous efforts for a comeback made by an unsuccessful film director and his relationship with the people around him are rendered in black & white.
Takashi (Shibukawa Kiyohiko), an unemployed film director, returns to his family home to nurse his older brother, Masaru (Mitsuishi Ken), who suffers from cancer. An old friend and screenwriter, Fujimura (Okada Koki) introduces Takashi to Ryoko (Kawai Aoba), but Takashi is contemplating making Ryoko his brother's wife...
