Live-action adaptation of Ishii Ayumi's same-titled SF period drama comic, which has already been turned into an anime and TV drama. Oguri Shun plays a modern-day high school student as well as the Sengoku Period samurai warlord Oda Nobunaga, and other powerhouse actors include Yamada Takayuki as Hashiba Hideyoshi and Mukai Osamu as Ikeda Tsuneoki.
High school student Saburo (Oguri) travels back in time to the Sengoku Period in the sixteenth century and takes over for Oda Nobunaga, with whom he shares an uncanny resemblance. Saburo knows from history textbooks that Nobunaga gets assassinated at Honnoji Temple, but what awaits him after he decides to buck fate?
