[ Story ]
The first documentary by Knockout director, Sakamoto Junji. The film covers 20 years in the life of professional boxer, Tatsuyoshi Joichiro, who was chosen to star in Sakamoto's own Boxer Joe. Toyokawa Etsushi narrates.
Despite experiencing various adversities including the detachment of his retina, the death of his father, the expiration of his boxing license, etc. Tatsuyoshi has chosen to remain an active boxer. He relates his occasional emotions with frank candor, from the time he went to America in 1995 to his second son, Jukiya, passing the professional license test in 2014.
