The STROBE EDGE duo of director, Hiroki Ryuichi, and lead actress, Arimura Kasumi, adapt to live-action a novel by CAPE NOSTALGIA original author, Morisawa Akio. A woman apprehensive of the future visits a forest full of memories of her late father, and gradually experiences a change through various encounters there.
Natsumi (Arimura), who dreams of becoming a photographer, is troubled by her relationship with her boyfriend. She leaves for a forest from her memories on the bike she possesses as a keepsake of her father. She ends up spending the summer with "Jizo" (Mitsuishi Ken) and Yasue (Yoshiyuki Kazuko), a mother and son who run a shop near the forest.
