Live-action adaptation of Shimizu Reiko's popular mystery manga which won the 15th Japan Media Arts Festival Excellence Award. It depicts police investigators exposing the truth of difficult cases by using a system which turns the memories of the deceased into video. Otomo Keishi of the "Rurouni Kenshin" series directs.
An MRI scanner capable of scanning the brains of victims and turning the memories of their life into video is invented, and innovatively advances heinous crime investigation. Section 9 of the National Police Agency puts this state-of-the-art technology to use on a brutal murder case and is confronted with a secret unknown to Section 9.
