The sequel to Samurai Hustle which depicts the struggle of a minor fiefdom suddenly ordered by the shogunate to fulfill the "sankin kotai" journey to Edo. Director Motoki Katsuhide and screenwriter Tsuchihashi Akihiro once again resume their roles for this film.
Using their wit and ingenuity, the lord of Yunagaya fiefdom, Naito Masaatsu (Sasaki Kuranosuke), and his party accomplish the "sankin" to Edo and now depart for the return journey to their homeland. While on the road, however, Masaatsu receives information an uprising has occurred in Yunagaya instigated by an elder samurai, Nobutoki (Jinnai Takanori), whom they had triumphed over. Masaatsu and his companions double their pace and race home.
