[ Story ]
An adolescent comedy film based on the bestselling novel of the same name by popular author, Makime Manabu. The work energetically depicts the mysterious experiences of a college boy who gets drawn into the world of the enigmatic tournament "Horumo" which is played by manipulating spirits called "oni." It is directed by Motoki Katsuhide of 10 Promises to My Dog (Inu to watashi no ju no yakusoku). Abe (Yamada Takayuki), who has finally become a Kyoto University student after having failed the entrance exam twice, joins the "Kyoto University Azure Dragons" because he is drawn to a girl with a beautiful bridge of the nose, Sawara Kyoko (Ashina Sei). The purpose of this group, however, was to compete in the mysterious traditional game of "Horumo."
