[ Story ]
A road movie set in Thailand depicting a Thai prostitute working in the red light district of Bangkok running away with a former Japanese Self-Defense Force serviceman. At the helm is director Tomita Katsuya, who became the focus of attention with Saudade. Bangkok Nites received the Junior Jury Award at the 69th Locarno International Film Festival.
Since coming to Bangkok from the provinces five years ago, Luck (Subenja Pongkorn) has ascended to the top tier at Ningyo, a popular nightclub catering to Japanese. She lives an opulent lifestyle in a deluxe apartment while providing for Bin (Ito Hitoshi), her Japanese gigolo. Then, Luck's former lover, Ozawa (Tomita), shows up.
