[ Story ]
Saudade and Bangkok Nites director Tomita Katsuya of film production troupe Kuzoku bluntly captures Buddhism and the "Post 3/11" Japanese society besieging it in this ambitious work.
Ten years ago, senior disciple Ryugyo and junior disciple Chiken returned respectively to their own temples after completing their training at the head temple. Ryugyo, who lost everything in the tidal wave including his family as well as his temple along the Fukushima Prefecture coastline, hasn't given up on rebuilding the inner temple as he lives alone in temporary housing.
