Animation adaptation of the same-named novel by Himuro Saeko. Set in a high school in Kochi City, the story realistically portrays the relationships between an easygoing boy and his best friend, and a girl who has transferred to their school. Produced as a TV special by junior staff at Studio Ghibli.
A girl named Rikako (Voice: Sakamoto Yoko) transfers into Taku's (Voice: Tobita Nobuo) high school. Taku was feeling bitter about her aloof attitude towards her classmates, but during their school trip he discovers something surprising about Rikako.
