Period drama based on a legend about human sacrifice for the construction of Komine Castle in Fukushima Prefecture, starring Shall We Dance? star Takenaka Naoto. Produced as the first film in the "it JAPAN" project promoting Japanese culture within Japan and overseas through cinema.
Heizaemon (Takenaka) is in charge of renovating Komine Castle, but he's plagued by a string of accidents. He needs to bury someone as a human pillar under the building to ensure that the construction moves ahead smoothly. Ironically, Heizaemon's daughter Otome (Enoki Sarina) is selected as the sacrificial victim.
