[ Story ]

Terasaki, the new history teacher at the Senior High School, finds encouragement in the words of his Principal. "There are no bad children in this world. Some may be hard to handle but a teacher should never lose courage … never give up."
But when put in charge of the third year class C, reputed to be the most incorrigible in the whole school, he is faced with surly opposition from the start.
However, Terasaki perseveres. His greatest headaches are three students ... Sanae, who develops a "crush" on him, Nakanishi, who seeks to forget his unhappy home life in rugby, and Nire his pal.
Three incidents bring the situation to a climax.
The first is a boyish prank in which Nakanishi and Nire steal various articles from an inn where the class stays during a school excursion.
The second involves a girl member of the class who is found to be pregnant for which Nire takes the blame and leaves the school.
The third becomes a criminal case when Nakanishi stabs his mother's lover.
At the end of the school term, Terasaki finds that he is the target of bitter criticisms from both the Board of Regents and the PTA.
The Principal, who appreciates the fact that Terasaki has faithfully followed his advice, offers him a position in another school.
He is faced with giving up teaching and taking up research work as his fiancée urges, or to continue as an educator, despite the poor pay and countless worries.
