[ Story ]
Sarutobi Sasuke is one of the folk-heroes of Japan's civil war period of the 1600s. He was a counter-spy and since both sides employed spies there were a number of mix-ups, all of which have become popular legends. In this episode he is on the anti-government side and meets and falls in love with several girls, one of whom has to be sacrificed in the cause of duty. In the end he meets the main opponent and emerges victorious.
