[ Story ]

A romantic comedy depicting the variant and whimsical daily lives of the Japanese mademoiselles in the Metropolis of Tokyo.
How they react against the bold spirited love makers and begin to take a liking to them is the theme of the picture.
The following are excerpts from the vivid and refreshing dialogue: -
Kasumi: " Don't complain! Now, what was it you were saying about personal affairs? "
Chieko: " Uh, as a matter of fact I've been told I have to marry, a marriage match. "
Kasumi: " Good! You should be happy. "
Chieko: " Happy? I don't want to marry a man I don't even know! "
Kasumi: " You mean you'd want to marry a man you know? You'd be bored. "
Chieko: " You are absolutely prehistoric. This is 1961. If I'm going to marry, it's going to be for love. "
Kasumi: " A direct quotation from Funk's little gem glossary of handy platitudes - pocket size edition. "
Chieko: " Wrong. I got it from a weekly women's magazine. A marriage based on love stands the best chance for being a perfect marriage. "
Kasumi: " And naturally you believe everything in print. "
Chieko: " All right, teacher. How about you getting a marriage match? "
Kasumi: " If I had the chance, I would. It'd be a thrill - almost like taking a chance in a lottery. "
Chieko: " Not everybody in lottery wins. "
Kasumi: " But in a marriage match, you've won a prize before you draw. It's fixed. "
