Kensuke Sone, a young employee of the K. Co., is chosen as the bridegroom-to-be for Fusako the daughter of Kawasaki, managing director of the firm.
Misako Kitaoka loves Kensuke, but is resigned to her marriage with Kensuke.
However, when Fusako meets Kensuke's friend Muroi at her birthday party she falls in love with him; and Misako and Kensuke quarrel because of a slight misunderstanding.
However, despite the various ups and downs in the relations between the young people, all misunderstandings are swept away.
