[ Story ]

This is the first melodrama for popular action star Yujiro Ishihara.
Mountain photographer Jiro Makito narrowly escapes death in an avalanche. When Tsuzuko with whom Jiro's brother lchiro is in love visits him in hospital she asks him whether she should accept his brother's proposal. Jiro urges her to accept and so they marry and set up house near Lake Aoki.
However, various incidents and clashes of characters split the two and lchiro goes off with another woman and Tsuzuko goes back to her parents.
lchiro returns to the house by the lakeside, and when Tsuzuko, who has suffered a change of heart, goes there, a scene which confronts her sends her running to the forest.
Jiro finds her senseless by the lakeside, takes her home and has things out with his brother. On the following day Jiro sets fire to his cabin and goes off to seek peace in the mountains.
