[ Story ]
Miwa Shigeo and Iwase Tomiko are classmates and inseparable friends. Shigeo's father, a doctor, is a widower, while Tomiko's mother, the principal of a dressmaking school, is a widow.
They long for their parents to become good friends like themselves and scheme to bring them together. Fate seems to be on their side, for Tomiko's mother becomes ill and calls in Shigeo's father to attend her.
Shigeo is delighted with the turn of events, but Tomiko becomes moody. She is not aware that it is her subconscious desire to have her mother all to herself.
For her it is unbearable when a student takes a picture of Shigeo's father carrying her mother when she sprains her ankle.
Tomiko decides to leave home and Shigeo agrees to go along to protect her. A little explanation, however, clears things up and all is well.
