Rebirth director Narushima Izuru helms this adaptation of the same-named 2020 novel by real-life physician Minami Kyoko. Humanistic drama that addresses euthanasia and death with dignity through in-home medical care.
Shiraishi Sawako (Yoshinaga Sayuri) resigns from her post as a doctor in Tokyo over an incident at work and returns to her hometown of Kanazawa. She relaunches her career doing in-home medical care at the "Splendid Land" Mahoraba Clinic while living with her father (Tanaka Min). She manages to create a life for herself, but then her father falls ill.
