A drama directed by Narushima Izuru, the master of Rebirth, with Yakusho Koji as the main character, challenging the universal theme of "family" from a unique perspective.
Kamiya Seiji (Yakusho), a potter, lost his wife early in life and lives alone in a mountain village. His only son Manabu (Yoshizawa Ryo), who is on assignment in Algeria, returns home temporarily and says he will quit his job to take over the pottery business upon his marriage to a woman from a refugee background. Meanwhile, Marcos, a Brazilian living in the next town over, sees in Seiji the image of his late father and becomes interested in the pottery business.
