[ Story ]
A young girl yearns to become a concert pianist. Music runs in her family, her father having been a well-known clarinetist, though now forced to play in a dance-band, which affects his health. His daughter takes all her savings, which she had intended for her musical education, for his medical treatment. She also takes part in a contest which she wins, and will now be able to play a concerto with a symphony orchestra. Just before the concert she crushes her little finger. But all is well and she is able to play with her father in the audience to hear her.
