A father, comfortably off, decides to give his four daughters his substantial retirement allowance on the stipulation that they leave him alone. He has brought them up well and now wants some freedom. Each has a romantic interest and it transpires that the father, too, has someone in mind. He returns to his happy family, however, upon discovering that all the woman wanted was his retirement allowance.
