[ Story ]
A humane comedy that comically portrays a susceptible adolescent in Juso, Osaka, who is distressed about his love life and family matters. Kobayashi Shoutarou's first movie as a director, which won the New Director's Award of the Directors Guild of Japan in 2006.
A high school student Kenji (Hisano Masahiro) has a girlfriend, Noriko. He has been with her for 6 months, but unable to cross the line as he is convinced he has an STD. Noriko is frustrated as she fears he has had a change of heart. At home, Kenji's father (Katsura Jakujaku) runs a real estate agency, where his lover, Yukari (Tisun), intrudes as a part-time worker. The relationship is discovered by Kenji's mother (Akino Yoko), but Yukari backs off when she sees the father in a panic. After the narrow escape of a family crisis, Kenji finally gets round to visit a hospital to find himself free of any STD. Kenji rushes to Noriko to tell her that he loves her, and restores the relationship. Having overcome the double crises of family and love affair, peaceful days return for Kenji who has grown up a little.
