[ Story ]

A violent action film based on a comic of the same title by Takahashi Hiroshi. Miike Takashi, a highly acclaimed director world wide, adapted the original story to this live-action version. Takiya Genji (Oguri Shun), a transfer student to Suzuran Boys' High School, where there is a high concentration of delinquents, plans to conquer Suzuran, which is considered impossible.
Takiya hits it off with Katagiri Ken (Yabe Kyosuke), a Suzuran old boy and a thug, whom he met by chance. Taking advantage of Ken's expertise, Takiya plans to conquer Suzuran. Different factions have been contesting for supremacy, among which "Serizawa Gundan" led by Serizawa Tamao (Yamada Takayuki) is just about to secure control. Boys keep fighting day in and day out, for their friends and own pride, as they have no other means of expression. Takiya's faction and Serizawa's fight a raging duel to settle the power struggle for the first time. Both sides are severely battered, but it is Takiya who pulls off a victory.
