Innovative documentary that questions what real happiness looks like for human beings, set against the majestic Himalayas and dealing with family bonds, prayer, and people living with nature.
In the 2015 earthquake in Nepal, 9,000 people lost their lives. Photographer Ishikawa entered a village at the earthquake epicenter for a news story, and is dismayed by the complete destruction of homes in the village. However, he becomes friends with a boy named Ash Bahadur and vows tell the world about this isolated village and return someday. In the course of his return visits, Ishikawa realizes that this village mired in despair is in fact a miraculous village filled with hope.
