[ Story ]

The immensely popular Sakurai Gamon's identically titled comic is adapted as a live-action film. It depicts on a grand scale the conflict between a new breed of immortal humans called "Ajin" and humanity. "Bayside Shakedown" series' Motohiro Katsuyuki directs.
Kei (Satoh Takeru) becomes a medical intern in order to save his ill sister, Eriko (Hamabe Minami). One day he is killed in an accident, but as an Ajin, he comes back to life immediately afterward. Chased by the government and turned into a guinea pig for inhuman experiments, Kei is confronted by Sato (Ayano Go), an Ajin terrorist who hates humans.
