Yasuo Ohtagaki's manga "Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt" is the basis for this special compilation animation, which adds new scenes to the four-part second season.
Seven months after the close of the One Year War, Daryl (voice: Ryohei Kimura), the former pilot of the mobile suit "Psycho Zaku," is on an espionage mission to investigate the South Seas Alliance. Meanwhile, Io (voice: Yuichi Nakamura), with whom Daryl was locked in a life-or-death battle, heads toward Earth as the pilot of the "Atlas Gundam." What will be the outcome of the struggle between the Principality of Zeon, the Earth Federation Forces, and the South Seas Alliance?
