Shiraishi Kazuya of THE DEVIL'S PATH and Twisted Justice directs the feature film adaptation of Yuzuki Yuko's novel of the same title. Cops go up against yakuza gangs and the gangs engage in violent in-fighting, set in Hiroshima in the days before the anti-organized crime law went into effect.
1988, Hiroshima. Hioka (Matsuzaka Tori) gets assigned to the second investigative unit under Ogami (Yakusho Koji), a detective rumored to have mob ties, and he is put in charge of the missing persons case for an employee at a yakuzaaffiliated finance company. Hioka confronts ruthless gang thugs while harboring doubts about the law-breaking Ogami.
