The film adaptation of Nakamura Fuminori's novel of the same name. It depicts an extreme love that besets the human mind as the story speeds headlong to an unpredictable outcome.
Yakumo Kyosuke (Iwata Takanori), a young reporter looking for a scoop, is preparing for his upcoming wedding to his beloved Yuriko (Yamamoto Mizuki). Intent on publishing a book, he chooses to write about a still riddle-laden incident involving the death of a beautiful blind woman in a fire and the prime suspect, talented photographer Kiharazaka Yudai (Saito Takumi). The closer Yakumo gets to the truth, the deeper he plunges into Kiharazaka's devilry.
