Film adaptation of Hayashi Akiteru's online comic. Emotions run high in this impassioned story in which feelings about ramen awaken people's desire to live. Feature film debut for director Kumagai Yuki.
Akashi (Ishibashi Renji) runs the popular ramen restaurant Seiran, but he decides to shut down the shop when his beloved wife dies. Then he finds out that his granddaughter Marie (Nakamura Yurika) has attempted suicide. Meanwhile, food critic Akahoshi (Katagiri Jin) become stranded while abroad on an assignment. When faced with death, he yells "I want to eat Seiran's ramen!"
