Pia Film Festival alum Ninomiya Ryutaro writes, directs, and stars in his theatrical debut film. The semi-autobiographical film weaves truth and fiction together in depicting the impatience of a young man living a gloomy life.
Ryutaro (Ninomiya), who lost his mother when he was 6-years-old, is a socially inept man withdrawn from others. Though he works at an auto repair shop, Ryutaro goes about life as if he's given up on everything. Then, he is told the mother of a childhood friend who took care of him as a child, Ryuko (Yajima Yasumi), has only a few days left to live.
