Akira (Komatsu Nana) was the top short-distance runner on her high school track and field team, but she injures her Achilles tendon during practice. She is crushed when she has to leave the team. One day, she ducks into a restaurant to escape the rain. She starts working there after being charmed by the restaurant manager Kondo's (Oizumi Yo) kind words.
