[ Story ]
In-depth documentary about thirteen households in a small mountainside hamlet that has been designated for dam construction. TV commercial director Yamada Eiji makes his documentary film debut.
In 1962, the Ishiki Dam Project was launched in Kawatana Town, Nagasaki Prefecture. The town has been in turmoil ever since, and as of 2018 the residents continue their wholesome lifestyle in the mountain village while risking their lives to protest the ongoing construction. The camera captures the transitioning seasons of Kawatana Town and the feelings of the landowners.
