[ Story ]
Film adaptation of solitary author Sato Yasushi's coming-of-age novel. With the setting moved from Tokyo to Hakodate, young talented actors including Emoto Tasuku, Ishibashi Shizuka and Sometani Shota deliver vivid performances. Directed by the cutting-edge Miyake Sho.
The first-person protagonist (Emoto) is a guy working at a bookstore in the Hakodate suburbs, and he enjoys nightly drinking escapades with his co-worker Sachiko (Ishibashi), who he is sleeping with, and his housemate Shizuo (Sometani). One
day, the protagonist finds out that Shizuo is interested in Sachiko and suggests that the two of them go camping together.
