The adaptation of Naoki Prize-winning author Okuda Hideo's identically titled novel in which a small-time hood ordered to kill a rival gang's leader spends the last three days of his life with a lonely office worker. At the helm is Morioka Toshiyuki who has directed many gangster films.
Junpei (Nomura Shuhei) is a small-time hood in Kabukicho. One day, he suddenly gets a job to kill the leader of a rival gang. Junpei acknowledges this will prove his worth as a man. In high spirits, he happens to meet office worker Kana (Yanagi Yurina) with whom he spends the evening. Kana wryly laughs at Junpei's old-fashioned enthusiasm but at the same time it bolsters her morale. So, she tries to remain with Junpei until the day he must carry out his task.
