[ Story ]

Kiuchi Kazuhiro's many endeavors include manga artist, novelist and film director, and he helms this live-action adaptation of the hardboiled novel that he penned. An exyakuza private eye who takes in an orphan gets entangled in an ingeniously staged murder.
Ex-yakuza Yano (Endo Kenichi) has washed his hands of the yakuza business and runs a detective agency with Shiori (Shiratori Tamaki), a second-grade girl. One day, he's asked to be present at the site of a transaction, but he arrives at the appointed place to find a masked man next to the bulletriddled body of his client.
