Filmmaker Wakamatsu Koji, who passed away in 2012, is depicted during his younger days in this youth ensemble drama. Shiraishi Kazuya, who served as assistant director on Wakamatsu's Cycling Chronicles: Landscapes The Boy Saw etc., helms this film.
In the spring of 1969, 21-year-old Yoshizumi Megumi (Kadowaki Mugi) visits Wakamatsu Productions after being invited by a friend. It is there director Adachi Masao (Yamamoto Hiroshi) and other young people bewitched by cinema gather, led by Wakamatsu Koji (Iura Arata), the pink-film flag bearer charging past the forefront of the times.
