The play by comedian and Akutagawa Prize-winning author Matayoshi Naoki is adapted to screen. It depicts a disappearance that occurs in a village with a mysterious tradition. It stars Sano Hayato of Real Girl and Hongo Kanata of Attack on Titan.
Noda (Sano) lives in a village where a legend states the children will vanish from the village once every 100 years. In the winter of his second year in high school, he befriends Tendo (Hongo), a student who transferred in the middle of the term. Noda spends his unexceptional days having fun with Tendo until without warning their friends disappear one after the other. Everyone in the village eyes Tendo with suspicion.
