Live-action adaptation of the teen comic by Yukue Takana. The silly everyday experiences of the members of a high school baseball team are portrayed with humor and a warmhearted touch. Directed by Horai Tadaaki of the popular TV drama series "Kodoku no Gourmet".
Shingen Prefectural High School's baseball team is pretty unremarkable, neither particularly strong or weak. The team has a "goofy trio" of freshmen, namely Ohori (Suga Kenta), Akimoto (Koseki Yuta) and Miyata (Yamamoto Ryosuke), who enjoy the daily practices at school. Then, Ohori fails a makeup exam and gets into a pinch when he's not allowed to attend the summer baseball camp.
