Feature film debut for Hollywood cameraman and actress HIKARI. Won both the Audience Award and the CICAE Art Cinema Award in the Panorama section of the 69th Berlin International Film Festival. A physically disabled woman struggles to forge her own path in life.
Yuma (Kayama Mei) is a manga ghost-writer with a physical disability who feels stifled by her overprotective mother. She wants to break out on her own and shows her work to a publisher, but she gets turned away for lacking life experience.
