Film adaptation of Naoki Prize-winning author Nakajima Kyoko's same-named novel with Nakano Ryota of Her Love Boils Bathwater serving as director and screenplay writer. Drama that delivers a humorous depiction of seven years in the lives of a father diagnosed with dementia and his family.
Shohei (Yamazaki Tsutomu) is a father dealing with dementia whose escapades wreak havoc on the lives of his younger daughter Fumi (Aoi Yu), older daughter Mari (Takeuchi Yuko) and his wife Yoko (Matsubara Chieko). As Shohei's memory gradually deteriorates, the family learns about an unexpected "recollection" that lives within him.
