J-Horror's influential "Ring" series returns to its origins. Nakata Hideo spearheads an original team for this film focusing on the black haired vengeful ghost Sadako.
Mayu (Ikeda Elaiza) is a counselor who tends to a young girl recently admitted to the hospital with memory loss when strange things begin to occur. Furthermore, Mayu's younger brother, a video content creator, goes missing after he uploads footage he shot of a fire at an apartment complex. When a doubtful Mayu views the video, she sees a black haired woman photographed behind her brother.
