Film adaptation of Ohishi Kei's same-named horror novel about a lonely man's warped feelings of love. Helmed by Bilocation's Asato Mari, who served as assistant director on films by Kurosawa Kiyoshi and Shiota Akihiko.
Ignored by even his parents, Mitsui (Kora Kengo) smells a fragrance in an elevator one rainy day that reminds him of Chihiro (Nishikawa Kanako), the only person who ever called him by his name. The awakening of that happy memory sends Mitsui on a desperate search for Chihiro.
